Collective Worship through the Liturgical Seasons

At St Wilfrid's we are particularly proud of our carefully planned, child-centred programme of prayer and liturgy.  All our children take part in daily acts of worship which take into account key events in the Church’s liturgical calendar such as Advent and Lenten reflections, Feast Days, world events, the work of groups such as CAFOD, inspirational people and recognises/includes other faith traditions.

Our internally planned programme is directly linked to the Gospel or other scripture for each week and allows children to lead and participate in, a wide range of spiritually-enriching activities.    

The prayer and focus areas we have around school are a beautiful reflection of our shared interpretation of the Gospel message.  We hope you will enjoy viewing them.
